Upstream™ systems also incorporate Crossfire Technology™ and are laboratory validated to meet the same high standards as NSF/ANSI 55 Class A but are priced competitively with ordinary conventional UV systems. Upstreams are available in two series. 75T Upstream systems are engineered for purification of higher quality water from sources like deep drilled wells or pre-treated water from municipalities and are laboratory validated to achieve 40mJ/cm2 at water transmittance (UVT) 3 of 75%. 50T Upstream systems effectively purify lower quality water from shallow or dug wells, cisterns and surface sources like lakes and rivers and achieve 40mJ/cm2 at UVT as low as 50%. Upstream systems are the only UV systems in the world engineered and tested to be effective in low UVT3 water.
